The TD plus is a pre-installed component on the device. The only requirement is to make sure that the client has a network connection (either local network or Internet) to the theft deterrent server).

Intel officially discontinued the Intel® Thief Deterrent on March 31, 2015, and all subscriptions expired at that time. The products reached their end of support (EOS) by Intel on December 31, 2015. Intel no longer provides technical support for this technology, and users are generally advised to contact their system manufacturer or former service providers such as jp.ik if they require assistance.
